Sewage Leak near Pearl City Shopping Center

Reason: Sewage Spill.
Island: Oahu.
CWB received notice of a sewage leak from the Pearl City Shopping Center. Approximately 300 gallons entered a culvert that runs under the shopping center. The culvert is inacessible to the public and runs toward Pearl Harbor, East Loch. The cause of the leak is still under investigation. UPDATE: The leak has been stopped as of Friday morning. Although this area is a non-recreational water, the public is advised to stay out of the area.
