Brown Water Advisory is being issued by CWB for the island of Kauai. Heavy rains last night and earlier today have caused silt laden turbid runoff to enter into Kauai’s coastal waters. The public is advised to stay out of flood waters and storm water runoff due to possible overflowing cesspools, pesticides, animal fecal matter, dead animals, chemicals, and associated flood debris through the weekend. If coastal waters are turbid and brown, stay out.
