700 gallon Waste Water Overflow into Palolo Stream, OAHU

Reason: Sewer Manhole Overflow

CWB has been notified of a 1200 gallon waste water overflow from a manhole located at 1830 9th Ave, due to grease in 8 inch line. It is estimated that 700 gallons flowed into Palolo Stream. Palolo Stream flows into Ala Wai Canal. Warning signs will be posted at first light tomorrow morning. Public is advised to stay out of Palolo Stream, Ala Wai Canal, waters off Magic Island and Ala Wai Yacht Harbor
